So today I visited Dave’s Pumpkin Patch in West Sac. This is the pumpkin patch they have been advertising on Groupon. It was $18 for 2 adults and 2 children admissions. Included was a corn maze, a child’s corn maze, hay rides, a huge gigantic inflated pillow (much like a trampoline), hay stacks to climb, and corn boxes. All unlimited!
You get there and it doesn’t look like a lot, but its a great place to go especially if you have little ones. The first thing we did was get on this very weird looking inflated pillow. You can run back and forth, jump, or do whatever. It was a blast, my kid loved it. Then we went on a hay ride it was about 5 minutes but cute and fun. You take the trail along the pumpkin patch make a u-turn and come back. Not very long but it is unlimited with the groupon. Next up was the corn maze. Oh what a blast! It’s bigger than you would expect for a pumpkin patch of its size, but we definitely got lost inside. Last up was the corn box, and yes that its exactly what the name says, a huge box of corn kernels. You get in expecting it to be like sand and you sink. It is a trip. Its so much fun even the parents will want to get buried and lie around.
Dave’s Pumpkin Patch was very nice, the people that worked there were very pleasant, and their are enough attractions to spend half a day there. They also have pony rides and a zip-line for additional fees. Overall I would say it was worth the $18. I would go back again.
